Customized private and group classes offer a chance to deepen your practice, gain confidence, and receive guidance. They provide a unique practice tailored to your individual or group's specific preferences including overall experience, particular goals, level of intensity, and intention/theme.

Cultivate a regular yoga practice by joining us monthly. Our Yoga for All classes are offered to build strength, steadiness, and ease both on and off the mat, while Flow + Restore classes provide an opportunity to move and strengthen the body before unwinding and relaxing.

Specialty series and workshops focus on a particular yoga style or theme and typically emphasize philosophy and combine the practice with other spiritual modalities. They are offered throughout the year, often aligning with seasonal or auspicious astrological events. 

Beginning in August, we will offer a variety of services including custom private and group sessions, monthly flow classes, specialty series, beginner's workshops, and retreats. Stay tuned for updates!

Registration is currently opened for our 6-week Balancing the Energy Body Series. Space is limited to 10 participants.

YOGA AS INQUIRY

We recognize yoga as an active inquiry into our true natures. By turning inwards to face both our light and shadow selves, we are able to recognize and embrace the totality of our divine essence and connect more deeply with our highest selves, constantly moving towards more authentic spiritual growth. 
 
As students of the practice ourselves, we aim to walk a path towards ultimate liberation and service to the greater good - we are empowered to share the practice with our communities, believing that this type of transformative self-discovery can be a part of the necessary change for the evolution of both our personal and collective consciousness. 

 

We understand yoga to be borrowed practices and are committed to honoring its roots, respectfully bowing to the people of India, their ancestors, and culture, grateful to have the opportunity to learn from the wisdom of ancient practices and lessons

AN EMPOWERING PRACTICE

Classes emphasize meditation, pranayama, and creative sequences to create a multi-dimensional experience in which students are empowered to follow their own practice while being guided towards spiritual growth, inner healing, and greater self-awareness.

 

Teachers lead safe and compassionate classes that are designed to be accessible to everyone and offer a practice that can be applied both on and off the mat.

 

Note that classes are currently only offered online via Zoom due to the COVID-19 crisis.

CUSTOM

Private classes honor the individuality of each person, recognizing that every body and every practice is different, and tailoring the practice to your specific needs and goals. 

 

Small group classes are also customized, designed to meet the group’s overall preferences, while also offering a unique and fun way to connect with others and enjoy the benefits of yoga.

 

Sessions range from 30-90 minutes and include time for brief introductions/set-up as well as to answer questions after class.  

 

Upon registration, you will be asked to fill out a brief questionnaire with your preferences including overall yoga experience, specific goals, level of intensity, and intention/theme. Once we receive your information, we will contact you to discuss pricing and scheduling.

CULTIVATE A REGULAR PRACTICE

Because we understand the importance of cultivating a regular yoga and spiritual practice, we offer donation-based weekly and monthly yoga classes to best support you in establishing and maintaining your practice. Please take what you need from these classes and leave what you can to support us.

 

While we hope to connect with you in these classes, we also offer free downloads so that you can practice at your own convenience.

WHAT IS ZOOM?

Zoom is an online platform that allows for video conferencing. 

 

You will be given a link before your class with information. Please plan to log onto Zoom a few minutes before class starts to make sure your microphone and camera are working properly.

CAN I CANCEL?

Please email us if you are unable to attend class. Cancellations must be received 24 hours prior to class start time to receive a full refund. Refunds will not be given for cancellations made in less than 24 hours.

WHAT DO I NEED TO SET UP AT HOME?

We recommend setting up in a relaxed, quiet, and calm environment, free from distractions. This will be your sacred space for our time together so feel free to include whatever (e.g., water, tea, candles, essential oil, blanket) makes you feel most comfortable.

 

At the very least, we recommend having a yoga mat and water.

 

A bolster, blanket, and 1-2 yoga blocks can help provide additional support, deepen postures, improve alignment, and protect against injury. You can also use items around the house (e.g., firm pillows, boxes, books) if you do not have immediate access to these props at home.

 

While props are necessary for restorative yoga practices, they are optional for vinyasa flow classes (though teachers will offer suggestions for the use of props throughout class).

ANY TIPS FOR PRACTICING ONLINE?

Teachers will be unable to provide hands-on support and adjustments. As such, we trust that you will listen to your body, resting and modifying poses if and when needed.  If you have any injuries or health conditions, please be sure to email us beforehand.

 

All participants will be muted during the class to reduce background noise, however, please unmute yourself if an issue arises.

 

Be mindful of straining your neck to look at your screen/teacher.  Pay attention to the teacher’s cues, especially as teachers may come out of a pose earlier than the class to check alignment or prepare for the next series; if you are confused or need clarification, fully come out of the pose to clearly see your screen rather than straining.

We are pleased to offer a variety of free audio recordings and videos so that you can continue your practice at your own convenience. While appropriate for most levels, we don't recommend these for individuals who are completely new to yoga as no visual cues are provided; 1-2 blocks (or alternate props) recommended.
