I am a seeker. A seeker of purpose. A seeker of joy. A seeker of balance. I am always in search of knowledge, growth and a meaning to my presence here.
I am a giver. I give to show my love. I give to find balance. I give to bring meaning and connection to myself and to others.
As someone who once lived and breathed for a daily routine, I am always working towards accepting and embracing the constant change of life. I am increasingly inspired to push myself outside the boundaries of my comfort zone, which I hope will also fuel my mental, physical, and spiritual growth.
In my quest for growth and my desire to move beyond my comfort zone, I was led to the path of yoga teacher training.
Through yoga, I find a space that is mine.
On the mat, I can close my eyes and tune into my breath, my flow of energy, and my spiritual body.
I love the sense of grounding that I begin to feel as I root down into the earth. I have permission to let go, to release, and to just be.
The mat offers comfort and security.
I have shed tears. I have laughed. I have danced. I have felt the warm energetic flow of another being and I have seen the changing colors in my third eye center during meditation.
On my mat, I am grounded, strong, and balanced.
Over the years, I have sought deeper knowledge about the overall benefits of yoga as a practice and have embraced a more holistic, mind-body-spirit approach that honors the traditional roots of yoga, rather than only emphasizing its physical benefits.
When I signed up for yoga teacher training, I didn’t realize the profound effect it would have on me and my life. During the training, I learned about the cycle of transformation. Upon reflection, I realized that signing up for this training was the first step to initiating a new cycle - a step that would push me well beyond my comfort zone for months to come, but would ultimately teach me to accept and embrace the inevitable flow of change that life offers.
I was brought to yoga teacher training because something deep within me was calling for a change. I was searching for something to anchor me, to deepen my awareness, to bring me steadiness and ease.
Once the training began, I entered into a cycle of learning that challenged mind, body, and spirit. I was called upon to question my purpose; to question who I am, as well as who I am not. I willingly entered chaos and confusion. Stripping myself of the comfort of routine and normalcy. I delved deep into my soul, bringing out my vulnerabilities with my fellow yogis in training.
Slowly the chaos began to settle, giving a hint of the subtle changes that occured within me and around me. I began to witness and sense the valuable resources that have been offered and embedded into my life. I tapped into my inner wisdom and guidance. As the training unfolded and we neared graduation, I felt emboldened and revived by the strength and power of my transformation.
My experience throughout the training felt as though I had evolved into a new state of being. I had truly experienced the cycle of transformation. Taking this valuable tool out into everyday life, I am able to reflect on this cycle to bring clarity to difficult passages or to remind myself of the necessity of change in order to grow.
With that said, I am still a human who is learning every day. I still feel the anxiety and doubt creep into my mind, like an old and outgrown friend that you just cannot shake. In a constant effort to feel aligned in mind, body, and spirit, I balance my life through a combination of running, weight lifting, hiking, yoga, nutrition, journaling, meditation, mindfulness, and Reiki. Each of these outlets provides a way for me to process emotions and thoughts. I am better able to face the unknown and the lack of control by offering myself time, self-compassion, and empowerment through action.
When your energy vibrates at a frequency that is within direct alignment to what the Universe has been attempting to deliver your entire life, you begin to life in the flow and true miracles start to happen. Panache Desai
My spiritual well-being has greatly benefitted from the rituals and routines that I have cultivated.
Each day offers a combination of journaling, meditation, mindfulness, gardening, and physical movement. The more I am in tune with my body and mind, the more balanced and energetically uplifted I am.
For me, it is the all encompassing approach to health and well-being that drives me each day and it is this knowledge that I hope to share with others.
More recently, I have begun to seek a deeper understanding of nutrition and the role that food plays in our overall well-being.
While we can utilize our bodies and our minds through various physical and mental avenues, I am curious about the nature of food as nourishment and energy.
I am uncovering the myriad of ways that gardening, cooking, and eating together are vital to our mental and emotional health. The ritual that surrounds growing and preparing nourishment for our bodies offers us a deep sense of community and celebration of life.

In creating a homegrown garden, I have become intrigued by the benefits of organic foods, composting, and sustainable living. I am a believer that the nutrition and vibration contained within foods can raise our own vibration and therefore our intuition and spiritual growth.
I am a seeker.
As I continue to seek and gain knowledge and experience in my journey, it is my hope that I am able to share what I learn with others.
I am drawn to help others find health and well-being in their lives.
I truly believe that we can aid in our own healing and nurturing when we take care of our physical, spiritual and emotional bodies.
